Job summary

Lifeways in Worcester is hiring a Support Worker for Woodbury View. This role involves assisting with daily routines, personal care, and household tasks, while encouraging engagement in hobbies and community activities. You will promote independence and monitor wellbeing as part of a collaborative team.

Full-time and sessional contracts are available, with a supportive training environment and opportunities for growth within Lifeways. A driver’s licence is desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant is ideal, but not essential.
• If you’re new to care and passionate about helping others live independently, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Salary: £13.30 per hour

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours or Sessional ( 0 Hour contract)

Shifts: 7:45am-2:45pm, 2:45pm-8:45pm, Long Day 7:45am-8:45pm

Driving Licence Required: Desirable

Your Role as a Support Worker

Your responsibilities will include:
