Lifeways Group in Dartford is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. You will help individuals live more independent lives, support with daily routines, activities, and community involvement, and encourage participation in hobbies and outings.

We provide full training, ongoing support, and clear progression opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.45 and full-time hours (37.5 per week).

Shifts: 07:00–14:30 / 14:30–22:00 + Sleeps

Your Role as a Support Worker

As a Day Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in empowering the people we support to live more independent and fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting individuals with personal care routines, where required
• Assisting with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and community outings
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice in every interaction
• Supporting with medication and health-related tasks
• Helping individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate achievements
• Maintaining accurate documentation and handover notes

You’ll be working with individuals who enjoy a range of activities—from baking and gardening to arts and crafts and social events. Your support will help them thrive during the day and feel confident in their routines.

About The Service

We support individuals with a diverse range of needs including mental health, autism, and learning difficulties. Our dedicated team provides 24-hour care and promotes independence through person-centred support. The service is vibrant, inclusive, and focused on helping each person lead a fulfilling life.
