Job summary

Affinity Trust is looking for a compassionate Support Worker in Wolverhampton to assist residents in a registered care home across three bungalows and an activities building. You will support with personal care and daily living activities, helping residents to participate in community activities and maintain dignity.

The role offers part-time hours (30 per week), with a pay rate starting at £12.80 per hour and rising to £13.00 from 26 October 2026. Full training including NVQ Level 2 is provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is required.
• Full UK annual driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with high care needs in personal care and daily activities.
• Support individuals with activities and community engagement to promote independence.

You will be working in a registered care home, as part of a fantastic team supporting 13 people on site across 3 bungalows and an activities building. From making a cuppa and having a boogie at a disco, you will be supporting with them with finding their place in community..

The people we support do have high care needs so personal care, and supporting people with their person centred eating and drinking assessments will be an essential part of the role.
