Job summary

Affinity Trust is recruiting a part-time Support Worker in Norwich to assist a gentleman with daily activities, outings, and social connections. You will require a full UK manual driving license and complete training with NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

The role offers full training, a supportive team, and opportunities to learn while making a real difference in someone’s life.

• Rate: £12.80 per hour (£25,028.64 annually, pro rata)


• Hours: Part Time (30 hours)


• Training: Full training + NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care

You will be supporting a gentleman who has a big personality and a great sense of humour. He values people who are patient, resilient, and able to take things in their stride, including the occasional strong language. He takes real pride in his appearance and his car, enjoys getting out and about, and likes to relax with TV when it suits him. Music is important to him, with a preference for classic artists such as Johnny Cash and Boxcar Willie. Maintaining connections with his family is also important, and he will need support to do this. A good sense of humour is essential in this role, along with an understanding that no two days are the same. You will need to have a full UK manual driving license for this role.
