Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a part-time Support Worker in Wolverhampton to assist residents in a registered care home across 3 bungalows and an activities building. You will provide compassionate support, help with daily living activities, and enable community inclusion while maintaining person-centred care plans.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and an enhanced DBS check; training includes NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Enhanced DBS check is required (paid by us).
• Disability Confident commitment; we interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria.

Responsibilities

• Support 13 people on site across 3 bungalows and an activities building.
• Provide personal care and assist with person-centred eating and drinking assessments.

• Rate: £12.80 per hour (T he rate will be increasing to £13:00 from 26 th October 2026)
• Hours: Part Time (30 hrs)
• Training:Full training + NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Required: Full UK Manual driving licence

You will be working in a registered care home, as part of a fantastic team supporting 13 people on site across 3 bungalows and an activities building. From making a cuppa and having a boogie at a disco, you will be supporting with them with finding their place in community..

The people we support do have high care needs so personal care, and supporting people with their person centred eating and drinking assessments will be an essential part of the role.
