Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Bedford (MK43) to help people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs live with confidence and independence. This full-time role covers 37.5 hours per week and includes comprehensive training to support you in this meaningful work.

You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a car to reach locations. A DBS check is required; the role offers competitive hourly pay with future increases.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care obtained or in training.

At this location our ladies and gentlemen have a mix of interests that you can enjoy with them. From playing snooker or watching football, watching a film, listening to a bit of Elvis and even being pampered. Spending time with or speaking to family is also especially important.

You will need to be a driver for this role as getting to the location is not easy on public transport.

We provide complete training to enable you to provide the best support you can to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
