Job summary

Affinity Trust is hiring a part-time Support Worker in Bedford (MK42) to help a sociable gentleman live his chosen life. The role offers £13.00 per hour, with a transition to £12.75 per hour from Oct 26, and 30 hours per week.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to drive a mobility vehicle. Training is provided, including NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, reinforcing your ability to offer compassionate and practical support.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman in daily living, activities, and personal care as agreed.
• Assist with transport and keeping his flat clean and tidy; enable outings when possible.

Our gentleman at this location is very sociable and prefers to be out and about. He has his own car, which you must be willing to drive as he doesn't enjoy using public transport. When at home our gentleman takes great pride in keeping his flat clean and tidy with support from staff. He has a great sense of humour and loves watching football.
