Job summary

Potens is seeking a Support Worker at Regents Park in Exeter to provide proactive, caring support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. The role involves personal care and helping residents grow independent skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
  • Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude and able to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in social care is preferred but not essential; drivers preferred but not essential.

Job description

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Regents Park is a residential service for 7 individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory needs.

Regents Park has been providing specialist residential support in Exeter, Devon, since 2000. The service is home to seven residents, many of whom have built strong bonds over the years. Regents Park is a lovely traditional building with easy access to the local community, including shops, leisure activities, and even the beautiful Devon coastline.

  • £12.80 per hour.
  • Full time 36 hours per week. Varied shifts between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm. You will be required to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
