CCH, Maidstone Complex SCP, is seeking a compassionate care professional to support a young gentleman with autism in Swanscombe. You will build rapport, encourage social inclusion, and assist with everyday tasks and activities.

With full training and paid induction, no prior experience is required. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary to reach local community activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is required.
• Experience in care sector, especially with learning disabilities and/or autism would be beneficial.
• Full training and paid induction provided; no prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Look after a young gentleman with autism and build rapport.
• Provide social inclusion and support with basic life skills and domestic duties.
• Engage with the client’s hobbies and accompany him in local community activities.

Job Description

What you'll do

You will be looking after ayoung gentleman with autism. In this very social package of care, you will be there to build a rapport with the client, offering social inclusion, supporting with basic life skills and domestic duties as well as getting involved with the client's many hobbies!

This can range from cooking and baking to going for walks around the local community, access to a vehicle would be required to be able to access more of the nearby community.

Qualifications

What you’ll need

Previous experience in the care sector especially with learning disabilities and/or autism would be beneficial and desirable. The only requirement would be that you need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
