Job summary

CCH Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated care assistant to support an active 38-year-old client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2) at her home in Walsall. You will provide personal care, help with daily tasks, assist with mobility and medications, and drive the client’s adapted manual vehicle to enable access to work, social activities, holidays, and community events.

Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience is helpful but not essential; full training is provided.
• The only mandatory requirement: a full, valid UK manual driving licence and confidence driving on motorways.

Shifts: Full-time | Days (08:00 - 20:00) and Nights (20:00 - 08:00)

Driver required: Yes - full manual licence due to driving the client's vehicle

About the Role

You will support an active 38‑year‑old female client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives independently in her own home and leads a busy, social lifestyle.

Your role will include:

• Supporting all aspects of personal care


• Moving and handling


• Medication administration


• Helping with household tasks


• Driving the client’s adapted manual vehicle


• Supporting her to access work, social activities, Powerchair Football, holidays, and community events

Because her lifestyle is varied and active, flexibility with working hours is essential

Qualifications
