Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a Support Worker for a 2:1 package at Maidstone Complex SCP in Gravesend. The role involves managing PEG feeding, medication, personal care, and driving the client's mobility car.

The position offers training, DBS coverage, progression into leadership roles, and national opportunities within the CCH network.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential, including PEG feeding, medication administration, moving & handling, and eye gaze technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Provide personal care and mobility support to the client.
• Drive the client's vehicle as required.
• Assist with outdoor activities, shopping and everyday outings.
• Record observations and report changes to the supervisor.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young adult who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care, you will also be required to drive the client's vehicle as he has a mobility car and he is a wheelchair user.

He is an avid fan of Pokemon, exploring the outdoors and wildlife, shopping trips and watching YouTube videos.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential, especially in the following with the clinical inventions prior to be offered an interview with our package manager:

• PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
• Knowledge of eye gaze technology
