City and County Healthcare Group Ltd in Gravesend is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a 2:1 care package with a young adult client who requires PEG feeding, medication management, and personal care. You will also drive the client’s mobility vehicle as needed, supporting daily activities and ensuring safety.

Based in Gravesend, this role offers full training, DBS coverage, and clear progression within a growing care team. Prior complex care experience is highly valued.

Formación

• Essential clinical skills and experience in complex care.
• Experience with PEG feeding and medication administration is required.
• Knowledge of eye gaze technology is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Manage PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Provide personal care and support to daily living activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment; drive client as required.

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Support Worker in this 2:1 package.

The client is a young adult who has cerebral palsy, and due to this, the client would require management of his PEG feed, medication and personal care, you will also be required to drive the client's vehicle as he has a mobility car and he is a wheelchair user.

He is an avid fan of Pokemon, exploring the outdoors and wildlife, shopping trips and watching YouTube videos.

Qualifications

Experience in complex care would be essential, especially in the following with the clinical inventions prior to be offered an interview with our package manager:

• PEG feeding
• Medication administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
• Knowledge of eye gaze technology
