Job summary

SIS is recruiting Support Workers for Sherwood House in Stone, Staffordshire, a newly refurbished service with 12 one‑bedroom flats. You will help residents live semi‑independently, understand their needs, and work as part of a small, compassionate team.

• Level 2 health & social care qualification or willing to work towards this.
• People that are enthusiastic about making a difference.

• Experience of mental health needs and challenging behaviours, this can be work related or from life experiences.

The Support Worker role

About The Service

Sherwood House is a new refurbished service which has 12 one-bedroom, self-contained apartments based in the town centre of Stone, close to local amenities and transport links. For the individuals we care for, this may be their first opportunity to live semi-independently and develop independent living skills. Whilst challenging, there is lots of opportunity for the successful candidate to help improve people’s lives and build an excellent team around the service.
