Job summary

Hightown is recruiting a Support Worker for Oxleys Road in Stevenage. You will support adults with mental health challenges to build confidence, develop life skills and achieve independence through a compassionate, person‑centred approach while maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities include supporting with medication, encouraging independence in cooking, cleaning and budgeting, contributing to support plans and risk assessments, and promoting participation in social and community

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Willingness to undertake sleep-ins and weekend shifts.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

What We Are Looking For

Full UK driving licence and access to a car

Experience in a similar role

Flexibility to work weekends and undertake sleep-ins (minimum one per week)

Shifts include:

• 3pm-11pm + sleep-in (11pm-8am) + 8am-4pm
• 8am - 4pm
• 9am - 5pm
• 1pm - 9pm
