Job summary

Oxleys Road is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Stevenage to help adults with mental health challenges build confidence, develop life skills and achieve their goals through person-centred support.

We offer full-time (37.5 hours) with a salary of £26,853 per annum, plus benefits such as 33 days leave, mileage, pension and ongoing training. If you have a driving licence and are flexible for weekends and sleep-ins, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar support role is required.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and undertake sleep-ins (minimum one per week).

Responsibilities

• Supporting with medication.
• Encouraging independence through cooking, cleaning, and budgeting.
• Contributing to support plans and risk assessments.
• Promoting participation in social and community activities.

What We Are Looking For

Shifts include:

• 3pm-11pm + sleep-in (11pm-8am) + 8am-4pm
• 8am - 4pm
• 9am - 5pm
• 1pm - 9pm
