Job summary

LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is seeking a compassionate support worker to manage a caseload of service users recently discharged from hospital. You will provide emotional and practical help, including welfare calls, shopping, and home visits.

The role requires a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle, and offers flexible working, including remote and hybrid options, plus generous holidays and a contributory pension.

• Basic IT skills and ability to follow procedures.

Hours: 21

Salary: £24,479 per annum pro-rata (£13.45 per hour)

Driving Requirement: A full UK driving license held for a minimum of 2 years is required and access to a vehicle. Business mileage reimbursed.

• Managing a caseload to provide emotional and practical support for our service users who have been discharged from hospital including welfare calls, shopping, and home visits.
• Supporting adults after a hospital stay to help them recover safely at home.
• Responding to referrals from clinicians and community health professionals.
• Assessing needs and following a personalised support plan for each service user.

• A kind, calm and confident approach with great people skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Basic IT skills and a commitment to following procedures.
