Job summary

British Red Cross is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join the Home from Hospital team in Surrey. This role focuses on emotional and practical support for individuals recently discharged from hospital, helping them regain independence at home.

You will manage a caseload, conduct welfare calls, and support recovery with home visits. A full UK driving licence is required, and flexible remote/hybrid working options are available.

Support Worker - Home from Hospital

Location: Redhill, Surrey with travel around the area
Hours: 21
Salary: £24,479 per annum pro-rata (£13.45 per hour)

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract Until March 2027
Driving Requirement: A full UK driving license held for a minimum of 2 years is required and access to a vehicle. Business mileage reimbursed.
