Job summary

Mencap is hiring in Plymouth to provide daily living support to people with learning disabilities. You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate care across shifts, including evenings and weekends, and contribute to creating a safe, supportive home environment.

The role requires a driver and offers a sleep-in option with enhanced pay. All roles involve DBS checks and a commitment to inclusion and respect for service users.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals in daily activities.

Full-time: 37.5 hrs Shift times: All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life! There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20

• All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
