Job summary

Mencap in Worksop is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our team. A driver is essential for this role and applicants without a UK driving license cannot progress. You will work with people who have learning disabilities, supporting daily activities and providing emotional support.

We offer 24-hour services with rotas planned four weeks in advance. This role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• A UK driving license is essential for this role; applicants without one cannot proceed.
• An enhanced DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Worksop.

A driver is essential for this role. All candidates who do not hold a UK Driving License will not be able to move forward with the recruitment process.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities . You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.

What we're looking for :

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
