Job summary

Mencap in Portsmouth is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team. You’ll deliver high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible and enjoy meaningful lives.

All our services are 24hr care with rotas prepared in advance; roles require a positive, empathetic attitude and the ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. DBS checks and references apply.

Mencap is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our incredible team in Portsmouth.

This is an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be delivering high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities, helping them live as independently as possible and enjoy fulfilling, meaningful lives.

What we're looking for

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Shift Times:

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

• Days: Between 07:30-21:00
