Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking compassionate Support Workers for our Longhope service. You will help residents gain more independence in daily living, support personal care, and assist with community activities in a welcoming residential setting.

The role requires a full UK driving license (preferable) and being over 21 to drive company vehicles. Shifts include mornings and evenings with a 35-hour contract and pay from £12.84 per hour including night enhancements.

Support Worker

Location: Longhope (please be aware you may need transport to get to Longhope as public transport does not get you to shift on time)

It is preferable to have held a UK Manual Driving License and be over age of 21 in order to drive our vehicle to go out on activities

Pay Rate starts at: £12.84ph (this is including the night enhancement)

Contract: 35hrs

Typical Shifts are: a mixture: 7am - 14:00 and 14:00 - 21:00

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
