Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for its Basingstoke service. You will help people gain independence, support with daily living tasks, and enable access to community activities. No formal experience is required, but a caring attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

Shifts include long days with a rotating weekend pattern, and a sleep-in obligation once per week. Comprehensive benefits are available after joining the team.

Job description

Support Worker – Basingstoke - £13.25 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday working 07:30 - 21.30 (long days x 3 ) including working weekends on a 3 week rota please note you will also be required to work at least 1 sleep in a week

Our residential service in Southampton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support visiting the local swimming pool, the next you could be doing lots of home based arts and crafts activities or supporting with physio.
