Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Support Worker in Castle Cary to help people gain independence and participate in daily activities. You will work with a warm, dynamic team to support a group of individuals in a residential setting.

Role involves assisting with personal care, enabling community engagement, and arranging activities. A full UK driving licence (minimum 1 year) and being over 21 are required due to insurance policies. Shift flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 1 year.
• Over 21 years of age due to insurance policy.
• Must be fully flexible with shifts (including sleep-ins) and 25–42 hours per week.

Location: Castle Cary

Pay rate starts at: £13.57 + Enhancements

Typical Shifts are: 8:00am – 20:30pm + sleepins Monday - Sunday must be fully flexible

We can offer a range of hours from 25 - 42 hours per week

This position requires you to held for 1 year a Full UK Manual Driving licence and be over the age of 21 due to insurance policy to drive our on site vehicles.

Our residential service in Castle Cary is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
