Job summary

Home Group Limited in Huddersfield is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help customers live independently, with daily tasks, and to foster dignity and respect in a practical way. This full-time role involves working a rotating two-week schedule and joining a team committed to making a positive difference every day.

You will support customers, encourage independence, and collaborate to empower people, while safety and wellbeing remain central.

Qualifications

• Passion to support customers to live their best lives.
• Experience of caring for others, professionally or personally.
• Ability to work on your own initiative, staying calm and positive under pressure.
• Recognise every customer is different and adopt a flexible, personal approach, listening to understand their needs.
• A Level 2 diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or willing to study towards it).

The practical bits

• Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw)
• Working on a 2 week rolling rota - week 1: Mon to Fri 7:00 to 15:00, week 2: Mon to Fri 13:00 to 21:00
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
