Job summary

Transforming Support Surrey is seeking experienced Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs at Prinsted in Horley. You will build trusted relationships, provide practical support, reassurance, and encouragement to help each person develop confidence and live as independently as possible.

The role offers £14.00 per hour (about £28,028 per year based on 38.5 hours weekly), with a discretionary bonus up to £1,000 per year and 28 days of annual leave including

Qualifications

• Six months’ previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without employer sponsorship.
• No visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Support everyday living skills and independence for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Help individuals manage tenancy and finances where required.
• Support health needs, attend appointments and medications per procedures.
• Encourage community involvement, relationships and personal interests.
• Contribute to support plans, reviews and risk management.
• Maintain accurate records and work with teams to deliver safe, consistent support.

Support Worker

Location: Surrey, RH6 7EP

Salary: £14.00 per hour, equivalent to £28,028 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent & fixed term available

Hours: 38.5 paid hours per week

Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 8.00am to 8.00pm

Working pattern: Rolling two-week rota

To be considered, you must:

• Have at least six months’ previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Be able to reliably travel to Horley, RH6 7EP, for the stated shift times.
• Communicate clearly and maintain accurate written support records.
• Already have the right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without employer sponsorship.
• NO VISA SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE. We cannot sponsor a visa or take over existing sponsorship.
