Job summary

Transforming Support is hiring experienced Support Workers to assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Horley, Surrey. You will help people build confidence, independence and make daily living easier, with 12-hour day shifts from 8.00am to 8.00pm on a rolling rota.

The role offers 38.5 paid hours per week, full-time permanent and fixed-term options, and a discretionary bonus up to £1,000 per year plus 28 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

• At least six months' experience in a care or support setting.
• Able to travel to Horley, RH6 7EP for stated shifts.
• Communicate clearly and maintain accurate written support records.
• Right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Supporting everyday living skills, household responsibilities and independence.
• Helping individuals manage their tenancy and finances where required.
• Supporting health needs, appointments and medication in line with agreed procedures.
• Encouraging community involvement, relationships and personal interests.
• Contributing to support plans, reviews and positive risk management.
• Maintaining accurate records and coordinating with colleagues and professional teams.

To be considered, you must:

• Have at least six months' previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Be able to reliably travel to Horley, RH6 7EP, for the stated shift times.
• Communicate clearly and maintain accurate written support records.
• Already have the right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without employer sponsorship.
