Job summary

Partners in Support is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities and autism in living life their way. No prior social care experience is required; full training will be provided. The role offers a permanent, part‑time contract in St Albans with supportive supervision and progression opportunities.

About the role

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to live life their way.

You’ll support people to build confidence, develop independence, learn new skills, access their community by taking part in activities, and do the things that matter most to them. No two days are the same, so if you enjoy variety and want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.

You will need to be able to use your own computer and tablet/phone to a comfortable level to use the online systems and apps which provide your rota, service details, and payslips. If you are not an avid technology user, don’t worry; all training will be given.

We’re committed to supporting our colleagues through regular check‑ins, supervision, training, and ongoing communication, so you’ll feel supported both personally and professionally.

No previous social care experience is required, as full training will be provided.

What we offer
