Job summary

Hightown in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to provide one-to-one, person-centred support that helps individuals build independence and achieve their goals.

You will help with daily living skills, personal care, medication support, and community engagement, with a structured 4-week rota and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, person-centred support.
• Support daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting).
• Deliver personal care sensitively and respectfully.
• Assist with medication and support plans.
• Organise activities and encourage community involvement.
• Support induction and mentoring for new team members.
• Work compressed full-day shifts (07:30-20:30) on a 4-week rotating rota.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

The Role

You will provide one-to-one, person-centred support that helps individuals build independence and achieve their goals.

• Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting
• Delivering personal care sensitively and respectfully
• Assisting with medication and contributing to support plans
• Organising activities and encouraging community involvement
• Helping new team members through induction and mentoring
• Compressed full-day shifts (07:30-20:30) on a structured 4-week rotating rota.

About You

You are caring, reliable and motivated, with a compassionate approach, treating others with respect, working collaboratively and empowering people to live fulfilling lives.

• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
• Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification
