Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a dedicated Complex Care professional to join our Advantage Healthcare London team in Epsom for night-shift support. You will care for a child with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy, ventilation, and PEG feeding, with supervision and ongoing training.

Role requires a driver with access to own vehicle due to location. Full induction and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Receive full support from Advantage Healthcare London branch with supervision and clinical support.

Job description

Shifts: Friday & Saturday Nights - 9 pm - 6 am

Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

What you'll do

Join a dedicated care team supporting a delightful and sociable child to reach his full potential.

You will provide specialist care for a child with complex medical needs, supporting daily living, light domestic tasks, and a range of social and sensory activities, including messy and water play, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and attending discos.

Care will be delivered in line with an individualised care plan and includes tracheostomy care, ventilation support, PEG feeding for hydration, and specialist moving and handling due to spinal instability.

You will be fully supported by the Advantage Healthcare London branch, with regular supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training and clinical support from a registered nurse.

What you'll need

Prior to the interview stage you need to have the following experience to be eligible:

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience in moving and handling.
• Experience in tracheostomy & PEG feed care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experience with Makaton or alternative communication methods.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
