Job summary

CCH is seeking a dedicated Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury in Orpington. You will deliver person-centred care, prioritize comfort and dignity, and coordinate with the broader care team to maintain continuity and high standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in complex care, strong communication, and a compassionate approach. The role includes day and night shifts with full training, DBS clearance, and opportunities for career progression

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is required, especially PEG feeding, medication administration, moving & handling equipment, and mental health support.

Responsibilities

• Join as a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman with an acquired brain injury.
• Review and follow the client's support plan daily, ensuring dignity and independence.
• Maintain infection control, perform safety checks on equipment, and monitor clinical interventions per care protocols.

What you'll do

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and take the next step in your care career. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and reliable Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman living with an acquired brain injury.

This is a highly rewarding role where no two days are the same. The ideal candidate will demonstrate patience, consistency, and excellent communication skills, building positive interactions and providing person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence.

As part of our dedicated care team, you will be responsible for reviewing and following the client's support plan on a daily basis, adhering to infection control procedures, carrying out safety checks on equipment, and monitoring and administering clinical interventions in line with training and care protocols.

• Moving & Handling Equipment
• Mental Health Support

It is essential you must have a valid UK manual driving licence and be confident in using a mobility van.
