Job summary

Priority Recruitment is excited to present this fulfilling Support Worker role in Essex. You will support our client in his own home on a 2:1 basis, providing personal care, mobility assistance, and encouraging independence.

The successful applicant will have experience with adults with complex conditions, strong communication (including non-verbal), a UK driving licence with access to a vehicle, and a dedication to a calm, reassuring presence on day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with complex conditions or behavioural challenges.
• Excellent communication, including non-verbal.
• Must hold UK driving licence and access to own vehicle with business insurance.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Support client at home on a 2:1 basis.
• Provide personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy support.
• Assist with community access and maintain routine with a calm, chatty presence.

Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Rayleigh, Essex

Pay rate: £16.81 PAYE

Job Type: Full time 36 hours per week (days , waking nights, sleeps 7:30am-19:30pm and 19:30pm-7:30am)

Must: Drive (UK licence – manual or automatic)

Company and Role:

• Supporting our client in his own home on a 2:1 basis
• Full support required including all personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy, community access , non-verbal communication
• Our client enjoys his routine and would lie someone reassuring , calm and chatty to support him

Successful Applicant:

• Previous experience working with adults with complex conditions or behavioural difficulties including Level 2 transcribing and complex bowel and catheter care
• Excellent communication skills including non-verbal communication
• Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance
