Job summary

Priority Recruitment is seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist in a client’s own home in Essex on a 2:1 support basis. The role covers days, waking nights and sleeps shifts (7:30–19:30 and 19:30–07:30). A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance are required.

The advertised PAYE rate is £16.81 with a strong emphasis on personal care and daily living support. There is a dedicated learning and development programme and access to a wide range of free online

Qualifications

• Experience with adults with complex conditions or behavioural difficulties.
• Excellent communication skills including non-verbal communication.
• Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance.

Company and Role:

• Supporting our client in his own home on a 2:1 basis
• Full support required including all personal care, manual handling, physiotherapy, community access , non-verbal communication
• Our client enjoys his routine and would lie someone reassuring , calm and chatty to support him

Successful Applicant:

• Previous experience working with adults with complex conditions or behavioural difficulties including Level 2 transcribing and complex bowel and catheter care
• Excellent communication skills including non-verbal communication
• Must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance
