Community Integrated Care was founded in 1988 and we were one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community’ agenda, enabling people to move out of long-stay institutions and live more fulfilling lives.

Since then, we’ve remained leaders in social care, providing bespoke support to thousands across the UK. Today, we support more than 2,600 people and employ 6,600 caring and committed colleagues across England and Scotland.

We have a proud history of breaking boundaries and are always looking for new ways to make a positive difference through bold ideas, innovative projects and impactful partnerships.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

You will be supporting a group of individuals moving into their own homes in Elgin with the age range of 24 to 26 year old. They will require support moving from their family homes to their own homes and will require support to learn new skills, look at new opportunities and develop their skills! Our staff must have patience, empathy, have a bubbly nature and a drive to explore new things.

This is a brand new development within Elgin which has a lot to offer in terms of the city itself and has many links to the North and South of Scotland. They live in their own bungalows within the same street and in close proximity to each other as they are all neighbours and they all have their own garden. If is important they are supported to look at new opportunities in the community. They like to go walking and attending locals groups and clubs. Disney, Sports and being outdoors are some of their interests. They want to be able to learn new skills and have new experiences living on their own. They would benefit from being enabled to live as independently as possible.

They are young and energetic. Support is provided on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis. Support would be required during the day, evening and at night. They would benefit from staff who are energetic, keen to support and seen new opportunities. You must have a thirst to learn and undertake any training needed to support them successfully. Our GROWN learner journey is an award winning training package and service specific training will be tailored to suit the needs of the people we support including examples such as Moving and Positioning of People, Acquired Brain Injury Specialism, Epilepsy with specialised medication administration, Visual Impairment and ADHD. You will also be supporting all our various Services within Elgin.

We are looking for Full time and Part time Support Workers. Shifts are 8am to 3pm and 3pm to 10pm including weekends.
