Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Derby is seeking confident Support Workers to join our team delivering high‑quality mental health care. You’ll work 38.5 hours per week on a rotating day and night shift pattern, providing physical and emotional support to people in our care, and contributing to a safe, therapeutic environment.

Successful candidates will undergo an enhanced DBS check and will benefit from a range of staff discounts, onsite meals, and a supportive coaching framework as part of a nationwide network

We are looking for confident Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week, (day shift 7.30am - 8pm and night shift 7.30pm - 8am) making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Derby. Shift patterns are 2 weeks of working day shifts and 2 weeks of working night shifts (rota includes week 1 x 33 hours per week and week 2 x 44 hours per week). Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model. Our integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward, our low secure ward, and the Wyvern Unit, our mental health rehabilitation service. Alvaston Ward, our specialist female personality disorder service, is one of the leading services of its kind in the East and West Midlands.
