Job summary

Community Integrated Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant or Support Worker to support four gentlemen with autism, learning disabilities and Down syndrome in their day-to-day lives. The role offers part-time (28 hours) or full-time (37.5 hours) permanent contracts across shifts from early morning to night.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds; travel may be required due to rural location, and a driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support four gentlemen with daily living, helping them stay as independent as possible.
• Assist with medication, personal care, appointments and finances.

Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.

Our Shifts:

7am - 2.30pm | 9am - 4.30pm | 2.30pm - 9.30pm | 9.30pm - 7am (Night)

Shift Requirement:

Days, working different days each week and including some weekends

Contract:

Part Time 28 hours per week and Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - permanent

Driving License Required?

Yes, and access to own vehicle due to rural location of service

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support 4 gentlemen, who share their home, with everyday tasks to ensure they're supported to be as independent as possible.
