Job summary

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing Limited in Congleton is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. The driver-only role supports daily living and community engagement, with shift coverage from early morning to late evening and on-call support.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months UK experience, must pass an enhanced DBS, and show empathy along with strong attention to detail.

Salary: GBP14 - GBP14 per hour

Job title: Support worker-Driver only

Location: Congleton
Hours:
7 am - 10 pm 1 x staff member
10 pm-7 am 1 x staff member (sleep)
8 pm- 8 am1 x staff member (Waking Night)
Salary:£14 per hour

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' UK experience as a support worker with experience supporting those with Autism, high levels of anxiety, schizoaffective disorder.
  • All roles are subject to an enhanced satisfactory DBS
  • You must be attentive, empatheticand have high levels of attention to detail
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Supportive working with 24/7 on-call support
  • Opportunities for clear progression to team leader or house manager
  • Opportunities to complete NVQ
