Job summary

Keyline Care Supported Living invites compassionate individuals to join our team as Support Workers in Jacksdale. You will assist adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behaviours to lead safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.

This role focuses on daily living support, personal growth, and meaningful engagement. We offer a 36-hour full-time contract, training on entry, development opportunities, and 28 days of annual leave.

Qualifications

  • Must have 18+ years of age and right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in care or support roles preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Promote independence, dignity and respect in daily activities.
  • Support daily living tasks including medication, meals, budgeting and household tasks.
  • Encourage social inclusion and confidence in the community.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date daily records and incident forms.
  • Use trained strategies to de-escalate challenging behaviours.
  • Follow person-centred support plans and assist with personal goals.

Job description

We are inviting compassionate, committed individuals to join our team of Support Workers in our Supported Living settings. This is a rewarding and meaningful role, supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs, and behaviours that challenge, helping them lead safe, independent, and fulfilling lives. You'll play a vital part in helping the people we support to live with independence and purpose. This includes assisting with everyday routines, building confidence, and creating opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment.

Location: Jacksdale

Job Type: Full-Time (36 hours per week)

Salary: £13.50 per hour

Shifts : Days - includes weekend and Bank Holiday working

Requirements
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Must be able to speak and understand English to a good standard for effective communication, record-keeping and safeguarding the wellbeing of those you will be supporting.
  • Please note - we do not currently hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to offer visa sponsorship.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Promote and support independence, choice, dignity and respect at all times.
  • Supporting individuals with their daily living activities, including medication, meals, shopping, budgeting, household tasks, and may also include personal care.
  • Encourage social inclusion and confidence in the community.
  • Monitor and promote individuals physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Follow and implement person-centred support plans.
  • Support individuals with their personal goals.
  • Use your experience and training to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with your team to maintain consistent, high-quality support.
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date daily records, reports and incident forms.
