Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is a Lancashire-based care provider delivering 24‑hour, personalised support to a service user who requires 1:1 attention. The role covers long day shifts and waking nights (8:00 to 20:00, 20:00 to 08:00) at a rate of £14 per hour, with robust clinical oversight and ongoing professional development.

The individual has a learning disability and requires 24‑hour support to remain safe, healthy, and emotionally regulated. She prefers staff who are mature, confident, calm, and highly consistent. Staff must be able to maintain a positive, upbeat presence and provide reassurance throughout the day. Her behaviours can escape when she feels ignored, when staff are not directly engaging with her, or when she is asked to wait. She may become verbally abusive, destructive, or withdraw to her room. She may also display behaviours that challenge, including self‑harm, ripping clothing, disruptive actions, or attempts to gain attention through shock behaviours.
