Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Chertsey to join our 12-bed residential service. You will help residents with daily activities, enable independence, and participate in person-centered support approaches.

We support young adults with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, dementia, and behaviours that challenge. The role is full-time (39 hours) with a pro rata salary of £25,845 per year.

Qualifications

• Passionate and caring about supporting others.
• Experience in care or social support roles preferred.
• Comfort with high-support needs and personal care.

Support Worker - Chertsey
£25,845 per year (pro rata) / Full time 39 hours a week

Having a full UK manual driving licence would be great for this role, as it really helps with getting out and about with the people we support

We're on the lookout for passionate and caring Support Workers with some experience to join our brilliant team at our 12-bed residential service in Chertsey. Right now, we've got 4 men and 8 women living with us, mostly needing 2 to 1 support, with some requiring 3 to 1. It's fair to say the support needs are pretty high here – there's manual handling involved, wheelchair users, and personal care support.

Person Centred Active Support is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for like-minded support workers to join us in supporting young adults with:

No two days are the same, but you'll be:

• Supporting people to live independently and enjoy their everyday activities
