Job summary

Radis Community Care in Cardiff is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people live independently at home and in their local community. You will assist with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation and enabling community participation, while supporting daily routines and household tasks.

Full and part-time positions are available. Radis emphasizes consistency and person-centered care, with opportunities for NVQ-related pay enhancements for qualifying staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or support roles preferred.
• Ability to support with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, etc.).
• Reliable and compassionate approach to helping people stay independent at home.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community (shopping, activities, trips)
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Providing consistent support to the same individuals on a daily basis

The Role of a Support Worker
