Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to join a consistent 2:1 care team supporting a lady living independently in St Austell. The role requires a full UK driving licence and involves assisting with personal care and daily activities on an ongoing, zero-hours contract basis.

You will work with a caring team to provide high-quality support, engaging in community activities and hobbies the client enjoys. DBS checks and induction training are provided.

Are you a kind, caring and reliable Female Support Worker with a full UK driving licence looking for a rewarding role where no two days are quite the same?

We are looking for a dedicated female support worker to join a friendly and consistent 2:1 care team supporting a wonderful lady who lives independently in a two-bedroom annexe at her parents’ home in St Austell.

About the client:

Our client is a full-time wheelchair user who requires hoisting for all transfers and support with all aspects of her daily care needs.

She is a very happy, smiley lady with a wonderful personality. She loves music—especially boybands like Boyzone—and enjoys attending concerts whenever possible. She has a busy and active weekly routine, regularly attending art and music clubs as well as hydrotherapy sessions. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys getting out and about.

Available shifts:

• Day shifts 08:00 – 20:00 - Monday-Sunday
• Thursdays 11am – 6pm
• Day/Sleep – 08:00am – 08:00am

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.

• Comfortable supporting someone in their own home and out in the community
• A female driver with a full UK driving licence
