Job summary

Affinity Trust is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Folkestone, Kent. You will support a gentleman with his daily routine and interests, fostering independence and confidence. A full UK manual driving licence is required, and full training will be provided alongside NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

You will work various shifts on our rota system, with commitment to kindness and a positive outlook, helping him join activities and experiences he values.

Qualifications

• Full-time role with 37.5 hours per week.

At this location you will be supporting our gentleman with his everyday routine and enjoying his interests and hobbies with him, which he loves to be involved with. Being with someone who is calm and patient is important to this gentleman.

You will be required to work different shifts, which will be allotted on our rota system. You must have a full UK manual driving licence for this role and be willing to drive a mobility vehicle. We provide complete training to enable you to provide the best support you can to people living with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs. What truly matters is your kindness, positivity, and desire to make a difference in someone’s day.
