Job summary

Active Care Group is hiring a Healthcare support worker for Bethany House & Lodge in Dymchurch. You will support young adults with neurological conditions in a residential setting, helping with daily activities and routine while promoting independence and wellbeing.

The role offers full-time hours (42 per week) on a rota including weekends, with day and night shifts available. DBS is required and there are many development opportunities within the Active Care Group.

Qualifications

• DBS check required.
• Flexible, professional and positive approach to multi-site working.
• Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.
• Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
• Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities.
• Assist with care plans to establish routine.
• Ensure clients feel safe and stable in day-to-day care.
• Provide personal care.
• Administer medication if required.

At Bethany Lodge, we provide support for young adults with a neurological conditions in a residential home, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing. What you'll be working:

Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend.

• Full time hours - 42 Hours a week.
• Day and Night shifts available
• £30,331.58 (FTE) per annum pro rata

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting our clients with daily activities
• Supporting their care plans to establish routine
• Ensure the client feels safe, and stable within their day to day care
• Personal Care
• Administrating medication (if required)

What you'll have:

• Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
