Job summary

Active Care Group's Bethany House & Lodge in Dymchurch is recruiting a Healthcare Support Worker. You will work on a rota, full-time 42 hours per week, covering day and night shifts, with every other weekend.

You will support young adults with neurological conditions in a residential setting, helping promote independence and wellbeing. Successful candidates will require an Enhanced DBS, reliable attendance, and the ability to work as part of a team or alone.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily activities.
• Assist with care plans to establish routines.
• Ensure clients feel safe and supported in day-to-day care.
• Provide personal care as required.
• Administer medication if needed.

At Bethany Lodge, we provide support for young adults with a neurological conditions in a residential home, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing. What you'll be working:

Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend. Full time hours - 42 Hours a week. Day and Night shifts available £30,331.58 (FTE) per annum pro rata

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting our clients with daily activities
• Supporting their care plans to establish routine
• Ensure the client feels safe, and stable within their day to day care
• Personal Care
• Administrating medication (if required)

What you'll have:

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Flexible, professional, and positive approach to multi-site working. Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping. Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual. Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situations
