Support Technician

Gildersome, Leeds (Commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Morley, Pudsey, Halifax)

Are you a Support Technician or Helpdesk Technician from a Hardware and Software background looking to join a growing business where you will be properly trainedand given opportunities to progress? Do you enjoy speaking to customers and taking real ownership of problems through to resolution, rather than simply raising tickets?

This is a permanent, on-site position within a friendly Support Team who are the first point of contact for a large customer base. You will receive bespoke training on the company’s products, development reviews and career conversations to help you build long-term technical capability.

This company manufacture, supply, install and commission a range of technical solutions into commercial facilities such as schools, shops, and hospitals. They have been established for over 15 years and grown to have a strong workforce of over 100 staff.Due to continued growth of their UK team, they are now looking to add additional Support Technicians.

In this role you will answer inbound calls and live chats, manage and own Zendesk tickets, provide remote hardware/software troubleshooting, guide customers through solutions and training material, and contribute to support documentation and the knowledge base.

This role would suit a customer-focused Support Technician with strong troubleshooting ability, looking for a stable role with structured development, training and long-term progression.

The Role:

• Answer incoming customer calls and live chats
• Provide remote troubleshooting support across hardware and software
• Contribute to support documentation and knowledge base content
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm (on-site)

• Technically minded with hardware & software troubleshooting skills
• Customer-facing, friendly communicator who takes ownership of issues
• Looking to learn, develop and progress in a technical support career
