Job summary

Protocol Education is currently recruiting Secondary Support Staff to work across a range of secondary schools in Huddersfield. You will support students in and out of the classroom and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The role offers flexible full-time or part-time hours with daily rates of £95-£120, and a commitment to safeguarding with DBS checks and mandatory training included. A dedicated consultant will support your placement journey.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have relevant qualifications and training.
• DBS check and Update Service membership preferred.
• Experience with young people in education preferred.

Responsibilities

Protocol Education is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Support Staff to work across a range of secondary schools in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact within education.

The Role

• Supporting students both in and out of the classroom
• Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral support
• Providing one-to-one and small group intervention
• Encouraging student engagement and participation
• Supporting students with additional learning needs where required

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with young people, preferably in an education setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resilient, adaptable, and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for supporting students' educational journeys
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
