Job summary

Protocol Education seeks confident Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Huddersfield. You will supervise lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, keeping students engaged with pre-set work and a positive learning environment.

The role suits graduates, aspiring teachers, teaching assistants, or those with experience with young people seeking classroom experience. A DBS update and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident leading groups of students aged 11-16.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Protocol Education is seeking confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Huddersfield. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced teaching assistants, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment.
