Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of needs in Huddersfield schools.

You will work with teachers to deliver targeted interventions, support emotional regulation and promote inclusive learning, ensuring safeguarding and welfare compliance.

Experience with SEN, Autism, ADHD is valued. Flexible assignments and opportunities for longer placements are available through Protocol Education.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals in educational or care settings.
  • Understanding of SEN, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
