Cornerstone in Inverbervie is hiring female colleagues for permanent part-time roles (20 or 25 hours per week). You’ll support three individuals with physical and learning disabilities in their shared home, assisting with daily living, meals, personal care and social activities while encouraging independence.
No experience required; training paid for and SVQ funded. Driving preferred but not essential, with shifts usually 08:00–15:00, 15:30–21:00 and occasional sleepovers paid £107.60 per shift.

You’ll become part of a friendly, welcoming team who supports three individuals with physical and learning disabilities in their own shared home. There's never a dull moment and no two days are ever the same.
You’ll support each individual with all aspects of daily living, including meal preparation, personal care, finances, household chores and playing an active part in their local community. We'll also need you to be supportive and creative to support with their hobbies and interests which include arts & crafts, gardening, going out for walks and getting out and about in their local community.
You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
We are ideally looking for drivers for this opportunity as the people we support have their own mobility cars, but this isn’t a deal breaker for the right candidate.
As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns will usually fall into patterns between the hours of 0800-1500, 1530-2100 hours and 1500-1530 hours (includes a sleepover). Sleepovers, public holidays and weekends would be a requirement on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of £107.60 per sleepover shift worked.
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
