Job summary

Cornerstone Community Care is seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our Inchbrae team in Aberdeen on a permanent, full-time basis (39 hours per week). You’ll support three residents with learning and physical disabilities in a warm, home-like setting, helping with daily life and activities they love.

No prior care experience is required; we value who you are. We offer fully paid training and fund an SVQ, with PVG/SSSC fees reimbursed, to help you grow in your career.

We'll provide you with fully paid training and all the practical skills you need to build a rewarding career in Health & Social Care.

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will fall into patterns of early mornings (from 0700 hours), days and evenings. Weekends, waking nights, sleepovers and public holidays will also form part of your work schedule on a rotational basis. When working a sleepover, the sleep part of your shift isn’t included in your contracted hours. You receive £107.60 per sleepover worked.

We are looking to fill this vacancy as soon as possible and hold the right to close our advert early if we find a suitable candidate before the closing date. Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy. If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.

If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
